The Illinois State Mountain Bike Championship will be coming to the FPM Trails in April. Don’t miss this opportunity to compete against fellow mountain bikers from all around the state! This is a USA Cycling event.

 

Sign up as Novice, Sport, or Pro/Expert. We will also offer a juniors class, and an Open class. Below is a breakdown of the distances and courses for each class:

 

Juniors (14 & Under) - 4 miles - Trail B

Novice - 8 miles - Trails A, B, and C

Sport - 16 miles - 2 laps on Trails A, B, and C

Pro/Expert - 20 miles - 2 laps on Trails A, B, C, and D

Open - 20 miles - 2 laps on Trails A, B, C, and D 

 

The Open class is for those racers that would like to race the 20 mile course (Trails A, B, C, D twice) but are not in the Pro class. The Junior class is for those 14 and under that would like an introduction into racing mountain bikes.

 

Entry fees are $30 for pre-registration and $35 on race day. Novice will be $25, and Juniors will be $15. A $10 one day USAC license is required for all participants who do not have the year pass.

 

There will be free swag for all participants. Prizes and medals will be awarded to all top finishers.
